I create original stained glass mosaics using recycled wooden window frames and scrap stained glass. My work is usually figurative; I create expressive characters that celebrate the female perspective.

I get my window frames from local repurposing and thrift stores around Portland and Vancouver. I also create other forms of stained glass art (commissioned windows, etc.); these projects create a lot of small, scrap pieces that I use in my mosaics.

I believe in making sure all that you own is either useful or beautiful. Ideally, both. Our environment strongly impacts our quality of life; we're each responsible for creating the most beautiful and meaningful life possible for ourselves. When we make the most of what we have, we're given more.
